Description
A modification to the convolution and back projection reconstruction algorithm has been presented which decouples the projection sampling interval and the spatial frequency cutoff and widens the applicability of the algorithm. The requirement to introduce a smoothing window has been met. The modified technique retains the computational advantages which lead to rapid reconstruction. (author)
