Quantum effects on Coulomb logarithm for energetic ions during initial thermalization phase
Creators
Description
In order to calculate accurately energy lose rate and fast ion pressure of the energetic charged particles produced in D-He3 fusion reaction, the quantum effect of Coulomb logarithm should be considered. The correction is most remarkable for the interaction between 14.7 MeV-proton and deuterium ion, the errors is about Δ(ln Λd,p)≅5.0. The quantum determination of coulomb logarithm should be used for the interaction between electrons and test ions, also for the interaction between test ion with the energy Et≥25 Zi2 Zt2 At and background ions
