Numerical model for a mass spectrum of six generations of leptons
- 1. Yaroslavskij Gosudarstvennyj Univ. (USSR)
Description
A phenomenological approach to the mass spectrum of leptons which is based on the simplest nonlinear discrete equation for the mass ratios and a linear sum rule is presented and discussed. The nearest and decisive experimental test would be search for pair production of heavy charged leptons with mass mc = 22.2 +- 0.2 GeV, which decay to heavy neutrino msub(N) = 8.6 GeV; it is suggested. At present this test can probably be realized only at PETRA e-e+ beams at s = 45 GeV energy. (orig.)
