Study on calculation model of separation efficiency of cyclone separator

Description
In this paper, according to theory analysis about separation mechanism of cyclone separator of steam generator, a calculation model of separation efficiency of cyclone separator was established. The theory models about droplets separation and film entrainment were built firstly according to operating principle and mechanism of steam-liquid two phase flow of cyclone separator. Then theory model of separation efficiency was constructed by integrating these models according to the definition of separation efficiency of cyclone separator. A calculation program was developed according to theory models and validated by experimental data. Then calculation of separation efficiency of cyclone separator was performed by using the calculation program. The separation characteristic was obtained under different geometry structures.
