Back-pressure requirement for CACS core cooling
Description
A licensing topical report is presented to establish the minimum containment equilibrium back-pressure requirement in a standard 2000/3000 MW(t) HTGR for the core auxiliary cooling system (CACS) to perform a safe plant cooldown following a design basis depressurization accident (DBDA). The supporting analysis and data for CACS performance and those components which govern the acceptability of the postulated accident transient are presented. (U.S.)
