Phase formation in V2O5 single crystals under different energy electron irradiation
Creators
Description
TEM study showed that irradiation of V2O5 by electrons with different energy can lead to phase transformation in two mechanisms - spinodal decomposition and/or nucleation. In 80-150 keV energe range spinodal decomposition occurs i.e., phase formation results in concentration decomposition throughout crystal volume. Under high energy irradiation (more than 400 keV) phase transformations realize only by nucleation mechanism
