Optical potentials for elastic heavy ion scattering
Description
The real part of the optical potential is calculated in a microscopic model for the reactions 4He-4He, 16O-16O and 40Ca-40Ca at several scattering energies. The two scattering partners are represented by ground state wave functions of an oscillator shell model localized at a given separation distance. The relative motion of the nuclei is approximated by a plane wave. For the nucleon-nucleon interaction we use the Skyrme force. The dependence of the optical potential on the scattering energy is investigated, both in the sudden and in the adiabatic approximation. (orig.)

Der reelle Teil des optischen Potentials wird in einem mikroskopischen Modell fuer die Reaktionen 4He-4He, 16O-16O und 40Ca-40Ca bei verschiedenen Streuenergien berechnet. Die zwei Streupartner werden dargestellt durch Grundzustands-Wellenfunktionen eines Oszillator-Schalen-Modells, lokalisiert in einem gegebenen Trennungsabstand. Die Relativbewegung der Atomkerne wird durch eine ebene Welle approximiert. Fuer die Nukleon-Nukleon Wechselwirkung verwenden wir die Skyrme'sche Kraft. Die Abhaengigkeit des optischen Potentials von der Streuenergie ist sowohl in der Sprung- wie auch in der adiabatischen Annaeherung untersucht worden. (orig.)Additional details
