X-ray and electron powder diffraction data for Y2BaCuO5
Description
The authors report the experimental X-ray diffraction pattern of Y2BaCuO5 for ready identification of this phase as a means of quality control during preparation of YBa2Cu3O7 based ceramic superconductors. The experimental patterns are in close agreement with that calculated from the published single-crystal data. They also calculated the extinction distances for electron diffraction at different voltages and these data are useful for transmission electron microscopy analyses of ceramic superconductors. 8 refs.; figs.; tabs
