Quality service analysis of Bangka Belitung electricity system with nuclear option

The goal of the study is to analyze the quality service of Bangka Belitung electricity system so can be known that the electricity system is good or need an improvement. The study of electricity generation development planning was done using WASP IV. The transmission development planning based on RPTL PT. PLN (Persero) Wilayah Bangka Belitung year 2011-2020 and assumed that no more improvement and Bangka system was interconnected with Belitung system. The analyze of Bangka Belitung electricity quality service was done using ETAP. The result showed that the frequency is 50 Hz and appropriate with the PLN's standard. The lowest voltage in the system are 88% (year of 2023) and 79% (year of 2030) from the nominal voltage so the drop voltage exceed the PLN's standard. The voltage betterment can be done by voltage controlling, line sectional area controlling, adding new line, and installing capacitor. (author)
