Production of double hypernuclei via the (K-, K+) reaction
Description
Cross section estimates are presented for the formation of ΛΛ and Ψ hypernuclei in the (K-, K+) strangeness exchange reaction, both for transitions to particular low-lying final states and also for the summed cross section. The problem of the well depth and damping width for a Ψ- in nuclear matter is also addressed
