Electromigration apparatus with a scanning semiconductor detector
Description
An apparatus for electromigration in a porous filler is described, while scanning with a gamma spectrometer is used to record the zone positions; the instrument employs a germanium semiconductor detector. A mixture of barium 140 with lanthanum 140 is used to show that one can record a clear-cut distribution picture for the radionuclides in the electrophoretic zones without sampling
