Steam generator for nuclear power plants

Description

The inlet duct forms an outlet nozzle for fresh water at the end projecting into the feedwater inlet duct of the PWR. The inlet duct is supported with a sliding fit like a thermal sleeve pipe so as to allow thermal movement. The seal is a labyrinth seal. (orig.)
