Periodically layered composites for mountings

Creators

Description

Present work is a study of the dynamic response of periodically layered composites with an aim to establish their use as mountings. Some typical attenuation characteristics of such composites subjected to harmonic excitation are given. Attenuation of stress in an elastic bar with such a mounting is also demonstrated in this paper. (orig.)
