Description

From the x-ray phase analysis of the compositions of synthesized specimens it was found that synthesized was HTSC Bi2Sr2ZnCu2Ox of a crystal structure. To gain a better understanding of the effect of substitution of Zn for Ca in Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O on superconductivity, the temperature dependences of specific resistivity, thermal conductivity and thermal electromotive force (EMF) are studied. It is established that the thus obtained crystal of Bi2Sr2ZnCu2Ox does not lose its superconducting properties (T0 = 82 K) and that its thermal conductivity increases. Moreover, over the whole temperature range the thermal EMF of Bi2Sr2ZnCu2Ox, has a p-type conduction while in Bi2Sr2ZnCu2Ox, it is of a n-type one.
