Description
A newly built Selected Ion Flow Tube (SIFT) was used to determine rate coefficients for the quenching of the vibration of N2+ (v not= o) by Ne, O2, N2, NO and CO2 for which values of 0.045; 1.2; 5; <= 0.3 and < 1 (all in units of 10-10 cm3 sec-1) were obtained. (Author)
