Description
These Rules prescribe the procedure to be followed at public inquiries held under the Electricity Act of 1957. They cover applications by the Central Electricity Generating Board (CEGB) or any Area Electricity Boards in England and Wales under the Electricity Lighting Act 1909, for consent to construct or extend an electricity generating station (whether nuclear or not); and applications by the CEGB or Area Electricity Boards under the Schedule to the Electric Lighting (Clauses) Act, 1899, for consent to place an overhead electric line. Ces Regles determinent la procedure qui doit etre suivie pour les enquetes publiques menees en execution de la loi de 1957 sur l'electricite. Ces Regles visent plus particulierement les demandes introduites par le Central Electricity Generating Board - CEGB (ou tout autre conseil regional d'electricite en Angleterre et au Pays de Galles), conformement a la Loi de 1909 sur l'eclairage public, en vue d'etre autorises ou non. Elles visent egalement les demandes introduites par ces memes organismes en execution de l'annexe a la Loi de 1899 sur l'eclairage public, en ce qui concerne l'installation de lignes a haute tension
