Investigation of electrotransport in two-phase metallic alloys

Description

The diffusion, the electric transfer and the electric resistance in pure molybdenum, in the intermetallic compound MoNi and in the alloy Mo-40 at.% Ni were investigated on the interval of temperatures between 1100 and 1300 deg C. The mass transfer of both components was studied in the two latter alloys. The temperature parameters of the diffusion and the electric resistivity were found, and effective charges of molybdenum and nickel were calculated. The degree of ionization of atoms of the investigated elements of all the objects was determined using the obtained experimental data. THe relationships of the theory of electric transfer, developed previously, were proved to be applicable to heterogeneous systems
