Autoradiographic study on effect of accelerative excretion and preventive absorption of radionuclides

  • 1. Suzhou Medical Coll., JS (China). Dept. of Radiological Medicine

Description

The nature of the action of radioactive nuclides on the body and the development of their effects are colsely linked with their retention peculiarity, transference and excretive quantities from the body. Therefore, the effect of chelating agents to remove radionuclides from the body and the preventive absorption of radionuclides were studied by different autoradiographic methods as follows: (1) study on the effect of quinamic acid and DTPA to remove 169Yb from the body by macroautoradiography; (2) study on the prevention of bone retention of 169Yb by stable Yb by macroautoradiography; (3) study on the meachanism of quinamic acid and DTPA to remove 169Yb from the body by microautoradiography
