Phase transition to the quark-gluon plasma and Brownian dynamics of classical Yang-Mills fields

Description

There has recently been a great deal of interest in the study of nonperturbative effects in quantum chromodynamics (QCD) arising at large distances. There are no effective analytic methods in this region, and calculations are usually done numerically. The most highly developed nonperturbative method is based on numerical integration of ACD by the Monte Carlo method with lattice regularization. Another noteworthy method of studying color confinement is based on the stochasticity of the Yang-Mills (YM) gauge fields. In this study the authors attempt to take into account the effect of finite temperature on the nonregular dynamics of classical uniform SU(2) YM fields. Here it is possible to trace the phase transition to the quark-gluon plasma, at least qualitatively, for a rather simple model without resorting to lattice calculations
