Fingerprints of solid-state chemical reactions in the dynamics of fullerenes

Description
Excitation spectra of RbC60, pressurized C60 and RbC60, Na4C60 and RbC70 fullerides are studied by Raman and inelastic neutron scattering, particularly in view of differences in the interfullerene bonding. Model calculations are performed for a detailed analysis. Changes in the dynamics connected with the different phase transitions for the intersting system RbC60 are studied by temperature-dependent measurements. (orig.)
