Oscillator poly spheroidal functions

Description

Necessary in a number of physical problems new special functions are obtained. Solutions of the Schroedinger equation of the N-dimensional (N ≥ 4) harmonic oscillator in Euclidean and pseudo Euclidean spaces in the poly spheroidal coordinate systems are expressed via functions, particular cases of which are Coulomb spheroidal and wave poly spheroidal functions. Analytical expressions are found, main properties and particular cases of new functions are considered and an algorithm for their computer calculation is prepared. (author). 19 refs
