On the role of small-angle scattering in biological research

Description
Small-angle scattering is a technique capable of supplying only limited information about the structures of biological materials. Nevertheless, small-angle methods can contribute significantly to our understanding of biological systems when appropriately applied. Several successful applications of small-angle scattering to biological problems are discussed to illustrate the ways in which the method can be used to good effect. (orig.)
