How to discover the B mesons
Description
The author suggests looking for the production of psi(J) mesons in the weak decays of the B particles in order to measure the masses and other properties of the B particles. B(B → psi(J) + X) is estimated to be of the order of 3%. The decay modes B → psi(J) + K(K*) may be most suitable for the determination of the B mass. (Auth.)
