Description

Age and genesis of miaskites of the Ilmenogorsk-Vishnevogotsk complex the Urals are studied by the Rb-Sr isotopic method. It is established that the age of miaskites of the Ilmenogorsk massif constitutes 446+-13 million years, and the age of the Vishnevogorsk massif is 478+-55 million years. The deep-seated source of substance composing miaskites is identified. Two stages of the Ilmenogorsk-Vishnevogorsk complex formation are revealed: 1) intrusion of miaskites and carbonatites under the groove conditions (445 million years, preceding the development of the Urals Hercynian folded strake, 2) miaskite metamorphism in the period of the final compression of the Hercynian orogenesis (245 million years)
