Fire protection design: small modular (advanced design) reactors
Description
This presentation outlines the fire protection designs of small modular reactors. The topics covered in ths presentation are a description small Modular Reactor (SMR), reactor types and uses, differences between current nuclear power plants (NPP) and SMR, SMR general safety measures, regulatory requirements and risk informed implementation, pre-licensing reviews, defence in depth considerations, SMR safety approaches, defence-in-depth design considerations and Canadian fire protection design requirements.
