Wide-band magnetic induction monitors
Description
A technique aimed at elimination of dependence of magneto-induction sensor signal upon beam displacement along the sensor winding has been presented. Application of the technique enables to measure current and beam location within time periods far less than those of signal propagation along the line formed by the winding and the screen. A device has been described, consisting of a beam current sensor and position sensors with respect to two coordinates with 4 ns rise time and 1 ms decay time. The sensor is actually a spiral line formed by the winding and winding capacities distributed on the screen
