Description

The microstructure of Cu-1.8at.%Li alloys was studied as a function of the temperature, using SEM, thermogravimetry and diffraction and neutron techniques. The air heating of the Cu-18at.% Li alloys generates a high temperature phase of Cu-Li with a lower lithium content starting at around 650K. This behavior offers a survival of the alloy in a solid state, for temperatures higher than the line of solids (CW)
