Description
The status and trends in nuclear power development in Italy following the resolution passed in the Parliament in December 1987 which, among other instructions, pledged the Government not to plan for new nuclear power plants over the subsequent five years and to start concrete initiatives in the fields of research and applications of passive safety reactors are discussed. 4 refs
