Spectroscopic investigations of the 2p23/ configurations in Si VIII and S X
Description
Thirty nine lines in beam-foil spectra between 750 and 2000 A have been identified as 2s22p23s-2s22p23p and 2s22p23p-2s22p23d transitions in Si VIII and S X. Experimental energy levels, calculated gA values and branching ratios of the observed lines, obtained from semi-empirical configuration interaction calculations, are also presented. (orig.)
