Description
The Two Pion Threshold and Chiral Anomaly Working Group focused on the chiral anomaly in the low energy interactions of pseudo-scalar mesons, threshold two pion photoproduction, and the N → Δ axial form factor. The broad scope of physics in the working group is reflected in the range of beam energies for the proposed measurements, from approximately 300 MeV to 600 GeV. The reports in this summary represent relatively new research directions in the field of chiral dynamics, motivated largely by the development of new experimental facilities at Mainz, Frascati, CEBAF, and Fermi Lab.
