Kac-Moody algebra and nonlinear sigma model
Description
We investigate the nonlinear sigma model over an arbitrary homogeneous space. Then it is shown that the sigma model realizes the Kac-Moody algebra as current algebra only if the homogeneous space is restricted to the group manifold. (orig.)
