Experience With Uranium Fuel With Mixture of Second Generation Gadolinium

Information and training center in Mochovce hosted on September 8-9 69 specialists from the Czech Republic, Russia and Slovakia, whose working domain is nuclear fuel. The international seminar focused on experience from the production and operation of VVER 440 reactors with said nuclear fuel. The participants also dealt with fuel enrichment, production technology, analysis, computational and operational thermomechanical characteristics of the core, experience in running this type of fuel and its burning out or performing accident analyzes. Results that they achieved, presented operators and interested scientific research and supply organizations in 28 presentations. Individual topics and discussion on the professional level has brought new knowledge and experience, lessons learned that we have nuclear fuel operate safely and reliably in a reliable nuclear power plant.
