Description
The purpose of this paper is to synthesize the main results of various studies and to analyze the methodologies implemented to set different fuel cycles (coal, gas, hydraulics, nuclear, wind) side by side. The scientific and economic information proposed herein stem essentially from: the ExternE project reports (initial publication in 1995 and complementary works up to 1998); Life Cycle Analysis notably performed by ETH (Zuerich University), Vattenfall Energysystem, Ecobilan studies on behalf of EDF and COGEMA, Complementary sources from ANDRA, COGEMA and EDF
