The technological influence of vacuum arc on the inner surface of metallic pipes

Description
The problems of coating of the inner surface of the pipe (tubular articles) by vacuum-arc method are considered. At the basis of the process control of transference of vacuum arc cathode spots on the outer surface of the tubular cathode coaxially disposed in the inner cavity of the pipe. Cathode spots are located and move along the surface of the magnetic field formed by the magnetic system located in the inner cavity of the electrode. Cathode material plasma flow obtained is deposited on the inner surface of the pipe providing high efficiency of the vacuum- arc deposition process. (authors)
