Description

Rigorous results of the behaviour of the hadron e-e+ annihilation cross-section in quantum field theory are reviewed. Finite energy sum rules for R(s) = σ(e-e+→hadrons)/σ(e-e+→μ-μ+) have been obtained. A comparison is made between theory and experiment. (author)
