Emission images in a condenser ionization chamber
- 1. Moskovskij Inzhenerno-Fizicheskij Inst., Moscow (USSR)
Description
Methods of electron and ion emission recording in gas medium by means of a condenser chamber are considered. Emission images excited by mercury tube and laser radiation with 10520 and 3370 A wave length, respectively, were recorded. Images present structure of both exciting radiation and emitting object surface and may be converted by electrostatic field. Spatial resolution of ∼ μm for the object is attained. The most intense electron emission sharply depending on the sample surface state is observed
