Experimental study of K-electron capture probability in the decay of 111In

Description
The K-electron capture probability in the decay of 111In to the 416.64 keV level of the daughter nucleus 111Cd was measured to be 0.853 ±0.037 in agreement with the theoretical value 0.865. The experimental value is seen to be consistent with the mass prediction of the relationship due to Wapstra and Bos
