EU-IndiaGrid infrastructure at work: applications and results

The EU-funded EU-IndiaGrid project aims at building a Grid-enabled e-Science Community between Europe and India. After one year of activities a computational infrastructure is in place and it currently employed by several of research groups to perform their computational tasks. In this paper we will offer a short overview of the main scientific areas involved in the project and we then discuss in details specific case studies how to enable scientific computational experiments on the EU-IndiaGrid infrastructure. Our ultimate goal is to offer here the lesson learned so far and present which kind of scientific results are now produced within the project. (Author)
