Time effects and glassy state behaviour in superconducting Y1Ba2Cu3O7-x

Description

The quenched disorder in the moving entity is investigated in a polycrystalline bulk sample of Y1Ba2Cu3O7-x (YBCO) by slow transport relaxation measurements (V-t curves) on long time scales. The time evolution of sample voltage (V-t curve) are correlated to spatial reorganization of the driving current together with increasing or decreasing of resistive and non-resistive flow channels in a multiple connected network. In addition, it is shown that the voltage decays appearing in V-t curves are characterized by an exponential time dependence which is analogous to the glassy state relaxation
