HBK project high temperature reactor fuel cycle. Irradiation Test of Low Enriched Fuel in the FRG. KFA contribution to the appendices in the Critical Evaluation of LEU Fuel Performance (PWS-FD 1)
Description
Introduction: The irradiation tests carried out in the past years, in which low enriched fuel was tested, led to the accummulation of extensive experience with LEU oxide fuel. While employing different material test reactors, the coated particles were tested in spherical fuel elements, in the form of compacts or coupons as well as loose.
