Description

The process of excitation of radial phase oscillations of the gravity centers (GC) of bunch train after intersecting the critical energy is analyzed. The analysis is carried out for the case of point bunches. The analytical expression for the phase spread of bunch GC at the beam energy less than the critical one is obtained. Analogous expression for the bunch orbit spread, conditioned by the bunch GC phase spread, is derived too

Abstract (Russian)

Анализируется процесс возбуждения радиально-фазовых колебаний центров тяжести (ЦТ) сгустков после пересечения их цугом критической энергии. Такой анализ выполняется для случая точечных цугов. Получено аналитическое выражение для разброса фаз ЦТ сгустков при энергии пучка ниже критической. Аналогичное выражение получено и для разброса орбит сгустков, обусловленных фазовым разбросом ЦТ сгустков
