Elements and functions of a data bank oriented towards radioprotective properties of chemical compounds

Description

The essential elements and functions of a data bank oriented towards radioprotective properties of chemical compounds are presented. This bank is made up of: a topological data-base bringing together each compound's registry number, code and the necessary screens for structure and sub-structure searching; an information data-base containing the textual pharmacological data relative to each compound. Conversational data-bank interrogation on a SYN 210 console connected to a UNIVAC 1108, belonging to the D.R.M.E., implies DARC software searching for compounds having the same structures or including the same sub-structures as well as textual information and mixed searching

Abstract (French)

On a presente les elements essentiels et les fonctions d'une banque de donnees orientee vers les proprietes radioprotectrices de composes chimiques. Cette banque de donnees inclue: une Base de Donnees Structurales, les informations concernant les structures et sous-structures des composes sont memorisees dans cette base et chaque enregistrement est repere grace a son numero de registre; une Base de Donnees Informations contenant les donnees textuelles pharmacologiques relatives a chaque compose. La banque de donnees a ete implementee sur un UNIVAC 1108 et sa consultation se fait sur une console conversationnelle SYN 210 appartenant a la D.R.M.E. Elle implique un software DARC de recherche de composes ayant la meme structure ou sous-structure aussi bien que des informations textuelles ou mixtes
