Adenocarcinoma of the uterine tube. Analysis of three cases

Three cases of CTU are analyzed retrospectively in women aged 51-57 and 60 years respectively. Clinically, they presented with pelvic pain bleeding all cases and in one of them. Were studied with ultrasound gynecological and abdominal-pelvic CT in one case ultrasound was also performed transvaginal. The CA 125 was elevated in only one patient. Diagnosis of CTU arose after surgery, reaching the same on the three occasions with adnexal mass. Surgical procedures were: oophorectomy and hysterectomy with bilateral oophorectomy in a case, salpingectomy in another and biopsy of the tumor mass in the left. The pathologic diagnosis was undifferentiated carcinoma in one case and papillary carcinoma in the remaining two. The clinical stages were for EI and EIII in a case in the other two. The three patients received adjuvant treatment based on Taxol and carboplatin. Two of them are alive at 8 and 14 months, respectively. the other died at 15 months, one of the cases in EIII and who made salpingectomy and systemic treatment. General treatment guidelines are marked as to the extent of surgery and the value of the systemic administration of platinum derivatives.
