Experimental determination of the L2--L3X Coster--Kronig transition probability in europium, plutonium, and curium
Description
The L₂-L₃X Coster-Kronig transition probability for Z=63, 94, and 96 has been measured by the L-x-ray---K-x-ray coincidence technique. The value measured in ₆₃Eu was corrected for the presence of an unresolved Lη x-ray component in the Lα x-ray group. The values reported are for ₆₃Eu, f₂₃=0.172±0.015, for ₉₄Pu, f₂₃=0.233±0.015, and for ₉₆Cm, f₂₃=0.226±0.017.
