Bound states of one-particle excitations in superfluid 3He near walls

Description

It is argued that a large number of bound states with energy below the gap can exist near the walls of a vessel containing superfluid 3He. This is due to the decrease of the energy gap near the walls. Bound states can exist in both B and A phases
