Creators

Description

The information provided is to further assist the reader in understanding the information regarding staffing levels and functions for a sample of some 67 NPP units. This information is based upon the education, experience and training requirements/practices in the United States of America (USA). The reader is cautioned that there is considerable variability in these requirements/practices in other countries that currently have operating NPPs. For example, in the USA there is NO requirement for NPP control room operators to have a bachelor's degree in science or engineering, whereas in some of the 29 other countries that have operating NPPs, there is. Also shows the reliance upon national standards/norms (such as ANSI 3.1)
