Description

We measured exclusive resonance production at large pt in nuclei. We bombarded C and CD2 targets with 6 and 7.5GeV/c protons and detected three charged particle events, two of which with high pt. We present missing energy distributions which show a clear quasi-exclusive peak (a reaction on a neutron in the nucleus) and invariant mass distributions for those quasi-exclusive events. Results for Carbon and Deuterium targets are compared and the relation to Color Transparency is discussed. copyright 1997 American Institute of Physics
