Environmental monitoring using environmental information systems of the second generation

Description

Several environmental information systems were designed and implemented in Germany after the Chernobyl accident. Experiences from the operation of these systems are positive. Their further use is highly desired. But updates of the hardware and the software are necessary. The requirements to be met by the follow-up systems are derived with consideration of accumulated experiences. (orig.)

Abstract (German)

Nach dem Reaktorunfall in Tschernobyl wurden in Deutschland verschiedene Umweltinformationssysteme konzipiert und realisiert. Die Erfahrungen mit diesen Systemen sind positiv. Eine Nutzung auch in der Zukunft wird allgemein gewuenscht. Doch stehen jetzt hard- und softwareseitig Nachruestungen an. Die Anforderungen an die Nachfolgesysteme werden unter Beruecksichtigung der gesammelten Erfahrungen abgeleitet. (orig.)
