Description
The volume compression of CeB6 has been measured by X-ray diffraction in a diamond anvil cell up to 20 GPa. At normal pressure the bulk modulus and its first pressure derivative have been determined to be equal to 166 GPa and 3.15 respectively. The bulk modulus is not reduced by the Kondo effect and no indication of any second or first order transition was found. (author)
