Energy emission during collision of solitons of the perturbed nonlinear Schroedinger equation

Description
Value and spectral composition of energy emitted in collision of two solitons of the Schroedinger nonperturbed nonlinear equation were calculated in terms of the inverse scattering method. Radiation effects investigated in the work can be in principle observed experimentally as electromagnetic wave emission in collisions between Langmuir solitons in plasma or as dispersing wave emission in soliton collisions in nonlinear optical waveguides
